Hello. I have gambled for 8 years mostly online casinos. Over time I have lost an estimated £50000 on roulette and blackjack with occasional slot gaming playing as well. Tonight I lost £140 which is all I have got to my name. This year has been the worst with losing money most of the time I have played just seems depositing is all I do. I want a new life but finding it difficult with constant losses leaving me financially strapped.

The only way to start a new life is to stop gambling and understand that it’s only when you stop that you can.

I have lost a similar amount to you and have been in and out of gambling thinking I am ok. This time I am sure that it’s the last time and I have now been gf for 4 days.

Best of luck!!

Well done for using our forum. I hope that sharing peer support here will be helpful to you.

Some of our forum members who are stopping online gambling, self-exclude from their gambling accounts and install blocking software on their devices, or parental controls on their internet access, as ways to make it less easy to gamble instantly on impulse. Allowing a family member or partner to supervise your finances is another common approach to inhibit gambling. http://www.gamcare.org.uk/get-advice/what-can-you-do
