one day at a time 

Thanks Dave for the kind words of support.

2025 has been a year of lots of positive things but it is constantly been ruined by my addiction to online gambling.

Today is Day 1 and I have put all blocks in place.

I'm sick and tired of donating my hard earned money to these companies.

I've admitted I have an addiction which was not easy to do being a stubborn person.

Plan is to work on myself more and address the issues that led me down this path.

Hope to connect with more people on this site.

Hi Help me!  I am only 3 or 4 days without gambling too but I have been watching a good YouTube podcast that has been helping a lot.  It is called ODAAT Gambling Awareness.  The host is a former compulsive gambler and he has guests on who share their stories of recovery after devastating gambling harms.  It may be worth a watch for you for some hope and inspiration.  Hang in there.

I've been watching some of his videos and they are very helpful.

Today is Day 5 GF and I'm starting to feel a little better.

The dark clouds have some what lifted and my focus is to stay on the right path.

Goal for this week is to keep my head down at work and spend time with the family.

Day 9 GF

Had a really bad day at work yesterday and almost fell into the trap of gambling again.

I wanted somewhere to turn and usually use gambling as a crutch when the going gets tough.

I don't want to return to that zombie state of mind.

Not feeling great today but will remain gamble free and my plan is to go the beach with the family.

Time to reset in a healthy way.
