Head full of gambling thoughts last few days. Really thought they were behind me. Well done to all who post on here ... day 1 was the most important day of all. Suzy
148 days clean. Finances very tight but I am still marching forwards. Onwards!

Checking in day 13 no gambling urges but lots of stuff going on at home and stuff to deal with that usually I would gamble on to.avoid but can't..

Managing to check in from sunny Florida!! 95 degrees and humid - this soldier is melting!!
Went to get some groceries this morning and phoned the good lady to tell her I was lost - in Walmart!! The place is massive - I'm sure I could have bought anything in the world there - although I settled for a new iPad - bought cash, courtesy of being gamble free - woop woop. Recovery really is the gift that just keeps giving.
Tonight I'm off to the Magic Kingdom and will be tying a napkin round my neck Cherie and they can provide the rest!! Soup de jour please!!! I hear the grey stuff is delicious đŸ™‚
Hope all of you are battling on well and remember for all of you who, like me, were heavily into football betting.......the summer gets a whole lot easier. Stay strong.

Sorry I have not been on for a while. I was involved in a collision with a lorry (his fault) and have been on holiday with zero signal/access to wifi. I have just been prevented or otherwise distracted from checking in!
I would still like to count myself as being gamble free? Our little holiday involved a trip to the seaside where my daughter and I had a go on the 2p machines. I will let you decide đŸ™‚
Before all of that excitment occured I did actually find myself tempted to try a bit more gambling. I just had thoughts of winning and how much I had managed to accrue during some of my winning streaks. Clearly the prospect of coming in to 10k+ would go a long way to clearing my debt! So much credit for me not doing it belongs to people from this site. I remembered various stories, bits of advice and successes which in turn stopped me from doing it and concentrating on clearing it as I had previously set out to do. Thank you to all for preventing that from happening!
I can only hope I get some half decent compensation, the sooner im debt free the better!

Morning all, Checking in early again this week from Cyprus as I have managed to get onto the Internet from the appartment. Really enjoying a family holiday, something that would have never occurred when I was heavily gambling.

Morning all, late check in for last week, off on hols on Sat so maybe I cna get this as an early check in as well :). Hope everyone is staying strong, I cant believe how easy it has been when you are determined, seems a long time ago i was so deluded and obsessed with this vile industry, now just to get out of working in it đŸ˜€
Early check in, day 29, just gone over 4 weeks so happy about that. All about small steps , here's to another week gamble free.
