141 days gamble free - painful to see some fall, but please try get back onto staying stopped if possible - it really is te best way....

small slips can escalate to great falls ....stop immediately is the key.

So far so good for me but still early days...........roll on one year 🙂

Sorry for the late update troops, I was stuck in work till later than usual and will do the update when I finish at ten tonight.

Checking on day 14 and that feels good....working towards not messing upon payday on Friday..

Just checking in! Day 16. Gutted I lapsed 16 days ago but determined to reach that 100 mark and beyond!!!

I am afraid I have to report that it has been a bad few weeks. A slip has led to a slot machine binge and now I find myself incredibly depressed and once again under a lot of stress. Seems that getting past 100 days which I have manged twice now, means nothing. I could see it coming too. The urges were getting stronger all the time. I can't believe I am back at this low point again but I need to start somewhere. I guess the only way is up.

Feel like a right idiot.

Day bleeding zero AGAIN!

I'm checking in on day 152. Pleased to have gotten past the 150 mark. Today is 5 months down for me - I think I did 8 months last year between Easter and December, so completing a year will feel like a real achievement. A long way to go...

Checking in day 15 and feeling quite positive about the future one day attached time..

Checking in, Day 19 for me only 6 days till I get to treat myself to a few bits. Found it tough the 2nd week but I feel i can do this and get over my gambling side that i spend so much time and money.

Checking in 152 days! No gambling and so much more time to worry about the important things in life. Debts are coming down but that's irrelevant - one day at a time!

Checking in day 16 odaat it's going ok..

Has anyone heard from Bornagain the last day or two? Hope he's alright - helps a lot of people on here

I hope all is well with Phil as I am sure it's just work related things that have not allowed him the time to post. I have emailed him and hopefully I will get a reply from him soon.

Hi all,

Slightly earlier check-in this week as know I'm going to be up the wall the next few days. Celebrating my birthday (last one in 30's on Saturday then off to Cyprus on Monday for my best mate's wedding (need to push on with best man's speech) so don't think I'll be checking in next week

In a great GF frame on mind and none of the above would have possible if I was still gambling.
