Great update Phil, good to see you back on form. Lord knows it is difficult to beat this addiction without having to spend time managing this forum, keep going mate and get yourself to New York. Thanks for all your time and effort.

Sorry day 21..
Checking in on day 25
Feeling relaxed and happy, plus the people who mean the most to me are proud that I'm making the effort.. 🙂
Hope everyone has had a good bank holiday and is set for a good week without any potential pay day temptation. I spent this afternoon watching the three Queens cruise ships in Liverpool followed by the Red Arrows. Then my day took a down turn as I had to work. Got the next four days off and an op on Wednesday that I'm pretty nervous about. Payday comes on Thursday and I'm going to be extra strong as New York is calling!
Stay strong troops and keep the check ins coming!
Great update Phil, soo pleased to see you back on track, sometimes we just have to take time out of stuff, in order to be able to move forwards. You are doing a great job with this challenge, and keeping us all strong and focused. New York is calling Phil, keep winning.
Well done all troops, everyday we don't play we are big winners,
Checking in on 393 days, life at this time is good, positive, and busy,
Have a great gambling free week troops.

Good morning
Thanks for this weeks update .. Great to be added back to the front page. Good luck tomorrow Phil.
Day 12 today and considering I'm off work it's going well. No opportunity to gamble online is definitely the key to my success. Blocking software removes and extinguishes the argument in my head I would have...trying to convince myself I can enjoy it and limit my spending. My mini relapse taught me I cannot. I got off lightly losing little more than £100 but how can throwing that money away in a few days be sustainable.
Answer : it's not !
Clare 🙂
Checking in day 22 all ok although lots debts and issues to sort still..
Checking in day 144, House sold , Packing everything into boxes for my move out on my own, This is what Gambling does changes everything, From having a wife and a house, now nothing, Trying to stay postive, Have a good week everyone
Checking in 158 days GF. Without doubt the hardest week so far. I think the raw emotion where life was unmanageable and life was upside down has subsided and my brain was telling me it is now ok just to test the water with a small bet. It was on the way home from lords after watching the cricket, I was drunk and had cash in my pocket. Waited at finsbury park for my train and found myself wandering into *****. My ten pounds left my pocket and was literally entering the fobt terminal when thankfully it all clicked. What am I doing...almost 6 months to blow it now. Walked out and was disgusted with myself. Keep recollecting my thought process and how I ended up in that situation. I think sub consciously I wanted to go through that - to see if I had the will power to abstain, but it's not something I want to go through again. How is ten pounds gambled going to better my life? I am 30k in debt and my life is slowly getting back to normality. My partner is beginning to trust me as is my family, and life gets better in ever way. Ten bloody pounds to ruin it all - no thanks. Onwards and upwards and have a good week all.
Checking in on day 37, feeling better this week, urges subsiding, keeping strong, have so much to live for without gambling. Determined to keep GF and reduce by debts bit by bit.
