Hi all,

Hope you are well all. Please see below latest day counts - congrats to the milestoners : Triange (passing 600 days - awesome), Casey (200 days - superb), The Ghost (100 days - excellent). Also a massive well done to people reaching milestones this week and to everyone else to getting through a day gamble free...it really can be a massive achievement for a gambler getting through an hour.

Good stuff John...I imagine it's a case of being extra vigilant after a slip and stopping the little voices becoming an almighty shout.

Some fantastic results on this challenge ! Thanks for the update Gary. Well done to everyone choosing to abstain. Whether it's day one or you've racked up hundreds of days gamble free; the important thing is we all keep up the efforts to beat our addictions.

After great intentions at the beginning of the year I have spectacularly fallen into the slots...AGAIN! However, day 2 for me and this time have plans in place: counsellor tomorrow evening, get back in touch with Gamblock which I had trouble installing and thought I could go it alone. I have even applied for a DMP pack. I might even try claiming back PPI as I have had loans and credit cards for 20+ years but have been too embarassed at my financial situation to allow anyone to look at my history.

I have spent nearly all day reading fellow CG's stories, each so similar and so close to my experiences. I know I have come to the right place and thanks to all for sharing their struggles and, more positvely, their fantastic achievements at remaining gamble free.

I am looking forward to day 3. Best wishes to all x
