Evening everyone,
Checking tonight on 700 gamble free days. Extremely happy to get this far in my recovery and pleased with my ongoing commitment to stop gambling. My family life, personal life, financial situation have all significantly improved, and improving each and every day, I don't place a bet.
Don't get me wrong, I still have the odd thought of just placing a little bet thinking that I am completely cured.... I have read a lot on this forum over the months, to prove that many a good person has ended up to square one, having had such thoughts.
Keep up the good work people, as everyone's support, words of wisdom and general ideas on how to keep away from gambling really do help.

Personally, have had a relatively quiet week but with no thoughts of gambling - long may it continue. Can see my first ever full calendar year of non-gambling on the horizon but am keeping my recovery in the present.
