Checking in day 9

Hey, can I join this challenge please. I am on day 66. Some may recognise me from previous years and I have had my ups and downs. I'm slowly getting closer to paying off a massive $25k in gambling/spread betting debts and hopefully only have a few more years to go. If I can get this year out of the way I could say I'm only a year off being debt free and back to living my life again.

I've been living in Australia travelling about a lot which has made it harder sticking on the straight and narrow. I suppose you're probably thinking how do I have the money to move my life and still travel so much. Well it's pretty much being a proper tight a**e. It can be hard as while I've been surrounded by travellers who are here to enjoy everything and have money to burn I have often chosen a quiet night in.
It's not always like that, I have learnt that I can spend money every now and again but I am precious over ever ВЈ or $ now and seeing it's future value.

Work hard, play a little. That includes gambling but this year is all about staying clean and giving myself a real good shot at full time removery.

Look forward to reading this thread and a bit more about everyone. I notice a few names from before and glad to see how well you are doing and that the challenge has worked for so many.

I’d still say gamble free but it’s not a great thing to do, a phrase comes to mind ‘poking the bear’
