Apologies for not checking in last week I've had a bit of a mad one lots going on at work and at home. But still gamble free and I hope I always will be. Day 134.

Checking in for the week on day 537, still gamble free .. have had some thoughts to gamble recently but fighting hard to stay on the right track

Hi,

new to the forum, decided to finally bite the bullet with Gamstop and what not today.

i haven’t lost tens of thousands like some, but have always had a bet or a spin on online roulette and slots - my last 6 months have been get paid, end up poor after a few days and struggle through the rest of the month. Somehow I only remember that time I won a thousand here or what not, the amount of times I’ve thought I was set for financial security, just to gamble it all away thinking it’s ok you’ve won this much or that much, it’s an actual joke.

I don’t know what my girlfriend or son think of me, as I am far to scared to talk about it with them. 

I’ve got a holiday in a month or so and I’m already worried I haven’t got the right amount of spending money for it because of my idiotic habit. I need to stop, now.

Id like to join in this challenge from today being my day one, and hope reading this forum can help me kick the nasty habit once and for all.

Welcome to the challenge Chris. Keep focussing on your holiday and don’t waste another penny gambling. I don’t know any successful gamblers, not a single one. We are all here due to the misery and stress gambling brings. Do yourself a favour and stick with this challenge. Keep gamble free !
