Hiya Lou Lou ? pleased to report that all is well in Hull today.

Totally agree with you that Adam's post was lovely. He doesn't say a lot but what he does say is spot on and he seems to have a good understanding of what makes us humans tick.

I read earlier that scientists have developed a covid vaccine that is 90% effective so I think we can soon get back to how we used to be.

Hope all is well at your hospital. It must be a very challenging profession to be in and I have the utmost respect you and your colleagues for the great work you all do.

Ahh really I'll believe vaccine when I see it and they get it all rolled out ..sooner the better though..works been busy but I'm off for a few days

I just tried to ring the helpline and it just was engaged and said line busy. I guess the whole lockdown is hitting people hard gambling wise probably because more people are at home with more time and worries and less distraction.

That is a good observation Lou Lou. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people have fallen into the gambling trap over recent months.

The gambling companies are so crafty and unscrupulous that they manage to convince gullible people that they will somehow benefit from visiting their insidious websites whereas we all know the exact opposite is true.

A compulsive gambler I know was fixing his old car when his son remarked that the betting shop owner didn't drive around in a pile of old junk but it wasn't appreciated and the son had to leg it quick before his dad got out from under the car ???.

I've noticed the only adverts I receive on Facebook and Spotify are betting ones, they know who to target, the vulnerable.  Let's not succumb to this advertising we know where it leads.

And I still get texts from different gambling companies even though I have gamstop offering bonuses etc I just ignore them and dont even open them anymore but they are very crafty in how they target people once theyve had an issue with gambling I think they defo see you as an easy target

I had a good day walked to the old dock were I fed the ducks and a delightful friendly coot who thinks the world of me because I throw oats in the water ???.

On to the marina and chatted with the owner of a racing yacht that had been in a round the world race several years ago. 

Stood on the pier and let the cold wind blow all my cobwebs away.

It was invigorating.

Wouldn't it be nice if everybody in the world was friendly towards each other and looked after the seas and the forests and were kind to all the birds, fishes and other animals.
