I have a new job!!

i am determined to pay off my debts, I will now be working 2 jobs in order to do that, can't remember exactly what day I'm on but I'm into my 2nd week and it's hard especially when I'm bored but I'm getting there. It will take me over 2 years to pay it all off and much much longer to regain mu husbands trust but I am determined this time to get 'clean'

fingers crossed and big hugs x

Hi Pooky

It's very important that you have things to occupy yourself with, especially in the early stages of recovery. Did you have any hobbies or interests that you can rekindle, or perhaps discover new ones? Reading, excercising, gardening, doing crosswords etc. Whatever will hold your interest and help to keep your mind from wandering.

Your husbands' trust is more important than the money. You will slowly but surely regain his trust as you refrain from gambling and continue with your debt repayments. Be honest and open with him about any thoughts you may have re gambling. He is still with you, so he does want to help you. He can only do that if you are completely honest with him.

Take care

Thanks guys x

My main problem is late at night when I'm in bed. I've started playing other games on my iPad (not gambling) and I've been reading but I still have the thoughts, I need to start exercising and losing weight but I need the umph to do this, still a bit low just now but hoping this will change
