Welldone for being here and proactively working on your recovery journey! You have done really well in starting your journey with protective measures such as GamBan and GamStop. However, it seems that you are still experiencing marketing messages coming through to your inbox. I am wondering how long it has been for you since installing the software blocking app? It may also be a good idea to create a new email account for daily use to help with this and limit access to your email account connected to all gambling websites you were on.

You share that right now you associate gambling with pain and hurt – this is very common as you start your recovery and I’m sure a lot of Forum users can relate to your reflections and how you are feeling right now. 2 days gamble free but the emails keep coming and advertising everywhere. Iv done gamestop and gamban what more can I do. All I associate with gambling now is pain and hurt.

I would've thought Gamstop meant they have to stop sending you promo/marketing. As soon as I entered that programme it stopped that straight away. 

Gambling has caused me hurt and pain for many years. Ive actually found remembering the bad times - Which I often forgot about when playing has really stopped me from participating again. 

Many night I've lost it all and been in absolute misery exhausting myself by working out how I'm gonna get by.
