I should have started one of these diaries a long time ago and I know writing this will not fix my problems but hopefully it will help.
Currently feeling all the anger, disgust and ashamed thoughts many of us here have experienced after yet another relapse.
I have everything I want, a wonderful partner who is due to have our first child soon, great family and friends, and a great job which I love. I’m not letting gambling take this away from me.
Day 1 starts here!
I really hope u do I have done it the only stress now is to get financial assistance to clear at least some stressful debts
Thanks, sounds like we are in the same boat. I have sizeable debts but they will be paid off in time as long as I don’t gamble.
Feeling better than I did during my initial post and have had no real urges to gamble. Still very much angry with myself and can’t quite believe the situation I’ve got myself into. Never again!
