Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right place for this but ...

I have relapsed again, for the second time, im in massive debt and still spending all of my wages on gambling.

Im considering gamblers anonymous but like anyone i keep bottling out.

To anyone that has been, what is it like the first time you go?

Do you have to speak? This is what im worried about, im a shy person as it is, I don't think I could talk about my problems to a group of people I don't know.

Any advice would be appreacted.

Thanks.

Everyone who has attended will know how you feel as they have experienced it themselves. If you wish to just listen that will be respected. It will not be as difficult as you believe. Please try it what do you have to lose?

Hi themorningrain

Do it. You owe it to yourself to give it a try. As previous posters haev stated, you will be welcomed. There is no pressure to talk. When you are ready to open up, you will.

I have met people from all walks of life in GA. They are all wonderful, caring people who are trying to regain some normality in their lives.

Best wishes
