someone told me and a good book called your money or your life with the same explanation.
is that how much pleasure or things you get per cost to earn it.
eg you spend a few hundred in an arcade in couple hours. but how many hours effort would you need to graft in your job to earn it to allow to gamble.
probably days.
so you think that doesn't make sense.hence why a good book or dvd that costs little gives a lot of pleasure versus it's cost.
then you realise gambling is a very expensive hobby.habit. versus hours needed to work to afford itÂ
like owning a fancy car you drive one hour a week that is sitting in the rain in the road the rest of the week whilst you work hours and hours trying to pay it off.

That is a great way to look at it. Your post helps me a lot.Â
Hi there. Â Thanks for this post it has made me think again how much grafting normal joe bloggs has to do to raise a few quid hours on a kango breaking out concrete or endless hours labour to a gang of brickies only to see that cash gone in milliseconds I vow never again and so should all of us. Best
I only ever looked at my burn rate after it was too late. I spent many hours at work just to be able to sustain my addiction. I had intentions of paying my debts with that extra but it never went that way.Â
Quite gutting really.Â
Affected by gambling?
