First day where I haven't deposited in a LONG time and I notice I am more irritable, mood is low and being off work for a few more days, I don't have much in way of distractions. Is it normal to feel like this way? I also feel like the next 4 days will be very tough given all the sport on offer!Â
Hi, yes I think it is,compulsive gambling has made your brain addicted, looking for the next feed and cycle of gambling when you suddenly stop irritability and low mood kicks in,if your ready to stop then put strict measures in place ,hand over bank cards credit cards, finances, self exclude online and in shop, keep yourself busy do anything other than to start the process which is compulsive gambling, win lose chase, back to zero being a compulsive gambler you can never win! I wish you well.
Our moods ebb and flow so it's normal to experience all sorts of mood changes.
It's a difficult question to answer because you have to face yourself and ask whether you are generally depressed and what irks you about life.
Look SNE we all get days when the bills come in and I'm not particularly happy about electricity and the cost of living.
However gambling is not the answer to all of that or anything else really.....on those odds all the risk is with you and you need to *** how many people could play the lottery for example for countless lifetimes and win nothing.....you need to get a *** of this scam and fight it...I'm just trying to get through to you that it's a mugs game and look where it got us
A difference now is that I've saved a bit and I can borrow what I would have gambled for in the past....It's called a controlled and much more organised life!
Yes I'm careful with my borrowing and could pay it back instantly from my savings but do you see how a person can build a better life when gamble freeÂ
You really do need to talk through your moods with a doctor or a therapist. They will be the cravings for a fix that was destroying you. Its a vice and drug addiction that was destroying youÂ
You have to abstain block and do the cold turkey to see that they are pushers and you were hookedÂ
Best wishes for a gamble free life

I have this urge to gamble but i am fighting it. somehow reading your comment made me more calm. So thank you a lot!
