Hey guys,

Haven't been on here for a while so thought i would share how i am getting on with everything.

It is 3 months and 2 weeks to the day that i haven't gambled and it has been the best feeling i have had in years! I am sleeping well, i don't stress, i have money each month! I have been working harder and managed to save to buy myself a ps4 next month for all my hard work!

It isn't easy but i found the best way to stop from gambling is to set small targets. 24 hours from gambling is then 48 hours, then 72 hours and so on. Before you know it a week has gone by. And don't just keep it to yourself tell people about it. The sense of a well done means more to me than any win could!

I was at rock bottom with nowhere to go but i have managed to turn things around. All be it 3 and a bit months but we all have it in us to beat this illness. Don't give up because you never know how much you can achieve if you don't push yourself! I have this on my phone and i see it everyday. It gives me the will to go each day and not gamble.

“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the Bull**** story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.”

You can do it!!!!!

Very well done and keep it going.

You are winning and doing it the only way there is to win which is by taking personal responsibility and not excusing your old behaviour by blaming anyone else or anything else.

Really nice to be reading this to kick the week off.

Make sure you bag yourself a good PS4 deal and enjoy every minute of playing on it!

Please keep up posted on your progress and well done again.

Dave
