Feel s**t, really s**t. I've had usual issues in the past, same as everyone else. I wanted to kick it bad, so I did the 2015 challenge and for 6/7 months checked in and supported others etc. Just one day last week found a site I hadn't s/e'd from and kept depositing and chasing more and more and done well over a 1k. Just no regard for money at all, hate this wish I was stronger.

i know its not easy pal, but just put to one side that you have f****d up, we have all f****d up and beatig yourself up about it aint going to do you any good. this is not my first time trying to beat this and one thing is for sure, we can take all of what we've learned before, all the times we've f****d up before and try to use that to help you beat this horrible addiction.

stay strong pal, you can do it!!

Appreciate the replys here, I know exactly what I need to do just feel like it will happen again but sure that's natural feeling. Just can't quite believe how much actual money I lost and how much little regard I have for it in these situations. What's done is done and the only way I'll stop is by s/e on every site! Thanks again guys your words mean a lot.

Hello,

Either you see it as a blip that you will learn from and not repeat or you throw in the towel.

Your choice, but I hope it's the first. Self exclude from the offending website, put more barriers between your bank cards and their ability to deposit, pick yourself up and get back on the rails.

Wish you well,

CW

It's a common problem, one I've had myself. Sometimes people will think "hey I've stopped for 6 months so I'm obviously not a gambling addict after all" and have one bet triggering the old nightmare. Or maybe you stop taking the precautions you had put in place before. You've done the 6 months and can do it again even if you feel like 6 days is beyond you right now.

Thanks for these comments I can relate to them all. It is such a horrible hangover feeling a couple of days after and having to pick up the pieces. I know what I need to do again and will start posting every week again in the challenge. Hard to get the quantity of money lost out of my head but whats done is done and the damage can always have been worse! Ive s/e from thst website and just need to realise I cannot possibly do this without this always always and i mean always happening at some point, even if I can be diciplined for 12 months of betting I would have this one hour, day or week of losing my head completely and blowing everything and a lot more. Gonna try and help more people on here also as its pretty much the only place that exists where you can talk to similar people with this illness and that really helps.
