So today marks 2 years since I last put a bet on, Im so proud of the journey ive been on, Id be lying if I said there hasn't been lows but ive worked through them. When I first started my Journey I thought there was no hope, but too anyone reading this I want you too know never give up on the thought there is hope. Everyones Journey is different, just like life. There ups and downs. As long as your trying your doing it right. Please don't give up on yourself. Id be lying if I said I don't get the urges or my mind doesn't get consumed of the thought, but I think too myself Ive come this far, no matter where you are on your journey, the best thing you can do is be kind too yourself, because the moment you don't its harder too handle those thoughts and impulsives. Do I still fight yes, but im now fighting too keep my peace. No matter if you fall pick yourself up and dust yourself off, and know each fall you can come back stronger.

In the darkness seek the light.

What motivates you? I asked myself that in the bad times

I wish you all the best.

You can and will get there if you don't give up on yourself

This is good to hear.

I relapsed last week won ...and blew the lot a few days later.

the shame and disappointment I feel right now is horrifying and it just won’t leave my mind.

Hi

That is wonderful being 2 years clean.

Yes we may have felt vulnerable at times yet just for that day we did not gamble.

Being proud of the journey is the reward for being a healthy person making much healthier choices.

We also learn to reward our self at different times.

I walked in to the recovery program with no hope in me what so ever.

That is the secret to to never give up on your self in any way at all.

The recovery program is a journey to finding healing and healthy life.

In life there will always be ups and downs ye how we process those things determines how much healthier we are today.

I am motivated by wanting to the healthiest person I can be today.

The simple truth is the longer you are in your recovery the more tested we get.

I do not use the wording bad times, I tend to use the wording unhealthy times.

Do not give up faith or hope in yourself.
