hi guys just wondering if anyone has done has and completed the 12 steps? I know a lot of people swear by it. Any advice on starting it and how it works?

12 steps is a gambling recovery process use by Gamblers Annonymous. You can read more about them on their website at http://www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk . You can then click on their literature page and download the 12 steps from their literature.
A lot of people on here have been to Gamblers Annonymous meetings and have found them helpful, but like everything else, it is not for everyone. What ever others reasons may be, it may be worth going to one of their meetings to find out if you will like it or not, and maybe get the opportunity to ask more about their 12 steps programme.
You can go on their website, and go on to 'Find a Meeting', on that page, you will be instructed to type in your post code, and you can scroll down to see your nearest gamblers annonymous meeting. Do not hesistate to Call us on our Free Helpline/Netline if you want us to help you further.
