I've realised over the last few days I'm not gambling but I've also got an eating disorder and that's been bad the last 2 days its quite bad as I'm also a diabetic !!!! How many issues cam 1 person have its another day no gambling that's good. I wish casinoes would stop spam emailing me I don't want to be reminded of that kind of stuff I keep blocking the emails and more just come I must be on some vip list as they all want me to join there vip group. I'm not going to give in though

Hi well done on your gamble free days, you have to stay positive about not gambling as this only makes your other issues worse. What type of diabetes do you have? With regards to the emails could you change your email address? Keep updating your diary as you will get lots of support on here, best wishes x

Type 2 diabetic but its quite bad they want me to go onto insulin and I don't want that but instead of gambling I'm binging on chocolates and rubbish. I've just eaten a 200g Cadburys wholenut ! Not good. I feel so down after eating it. On the positive another day no gambling wish I stopped last year I would have so much money now !!!!!!!!

Hey Lestaguy, if they want you on insulin I guess your diabetes is badly controlled with tablets...insulin is not so bad, use a pen to self administer once or twice a day, after checking your BM. Left uncontrolled you will end up with other health problems. For me gambling and overeating are both ways of dealing with other problems...keep reaching out for support. Are you getting counselling for your gambling? Have you thought about GA? I have started going to a local meeting and there is so much support...people prepared to share their vulnerability, knowing that others will understand.

Every email that comes from a casino, just block that sender. Will take a few weeks I'm sure but they'll eventually stop coming.
