sHi everyone my names Shaun, I'm looking to join in and reach 100 days gamble free. Gambling has been a problem for me for a number of years now and this time I really need to do something different Markman has kindly pointed me in the direction of this thread.
Day one gamble free
Shaun
Welcome Shaun. With you the way.
Mixer. Please reset my counter to day 1. I am nowhere near ready to celebrate 100 days in 2 weeks. Going to walk with Shaun and return the support he gave me 5 years ago when needed most.
Markman you are a true gent and thank you for picking me up I really do appreciate it.
Shaun - never have forgotten your support all these years ago and have missed our chats from time to time. let's look only forward from here!
Checking in on day 60. Feeing very focused & positive at the minute.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.
Hi Mixer.
Not sure if my counter is correct?? On 3.4.17, I am sure I was on day 43! Or are these figures taken from the weekend?
P.s. Just also wanted to say a big personal thank you for completing this task. Very much appreciated.

*** WELCOME *** to whatafool and Shaun442, good to have you aboard for the challenge. Let's see what you're made of - a warm welcome to you both.
*** CONGRATULATIONS *** for Samson, about to hit 200 GF days, and (almost namesake) Sam, who recently stormed through the 300 day barrier. And Woodley, about to be our next BRONZE member any day now, on the 99 day mark! Superb stuff our determined trio!
Thank you for checking in, as always. I haven't been around as you'll have noticed; I have a lot of personal stuff going on at the moment that has meant I've been unable to update as much as I would have liked to - I remain resolutely GF, by the way.
JayD - as usual, you check in with a disciplined resolute approach - keep it going, keep it very real.
ODAAT - glad you're clicking those street signs on the CAPTCHA with ease - and take your point about those occasions we have to draw around objects, still haven't got to grips with that myself...!
Rhoda - hope you're keeping well 🙂
Wardall - so glad you're not under the 'grubby *** of gambling' - loving the wordplay 🙂 !
Killieboy - you're welcome to join our challenge, will add you to the rollcall next time!
Mari (SC) - You've held your hands up and start again. Straight back into the GF seat on our g roup reserved especially for you. We pick you up, and off we go again. Wiser, more resolved, and, unsmiling, back into the GF world (where we'll soon be smiling again!)
Our Lady - doing great and hopefully I've got your total back on track now.
dsh1986 - storming it day by day. Setting the best of examples, not only for your better life but an incentive to us all.
Sbb - I don't blame you for having a drop for the first time in months. And great to note your total ambivalence to the flashing machines who's design and purpose is to simply drain away our hard-earned cash. How f'ing tedious. Quite agree with you.
dswright - A solid month under your belt. Showing that you mean this.
SIlver Lining - our warm congratulations to you; gonna become a dad! A fantastic experience as I can vouch as an older dad to my young 4 year old son. It's all that matters, it's all about him.
Tri - how are you doing my friend, and quite right, let's not get drawn back in. Too easy.
Panders - I hope the final session went great guns the other night and you have in place a strategy to keep you firmly in the GF zone. I'm sure you have!
Vamp - glad you're focussed, long may it be so. Great to read.
Let's keep going. Let's keep strong and keep it real. Life's tough (as many of us know). But gambling simply makes it tougher. So let's keep giving ourselves a break and not deliberately and purposefully worsen our situations. We have the choice.

How to win at gambling: Lay off for a few weeks, and then quit for good.

Gf day
Sam checking in GF, keep the good work going team!
I feel like I've let everyone down. Unfortunately I am back to day 0. I needed to come on here to be honest.
I'm kicking myself as I'm so close to day 100.
Sorry 🙁
Thanks Mixer - you most certainly have!
Dear Everybody,
I have serious personal issues to deal with. As such, I am no longer able to be part of this challenge, or Gamcare. Keep strong, everyone. I'm sorry I can't continue.
Over and Out.
Mixer
I wish you all the best
Bal
Mixer, there will always be a place for you here when you need it. Always. I will continue to think of you everyday. I wish you every success, and am sending love and a big hug. You made a difference to me Mixer, you really changed the course of my life, I want you to know that.

Mixer - you will be missed...Do what's right for you my friend, take care....Maybe one day you can return.
