MARCH MINI GOALS UPDATE:

1. To pay all bills. (TICK)

2. To pay the last of my council tax arrears. (TICK)

3. To pay the last of my gas arrears. (TICK)

4. To treat myself to something nice. (TICK)

LONG TERM GOALS.

1. To continue to pay my sister back. (TICK)

2. To be patient. (TICK and getting better at it).

3. To remain gamble free. (TICK, TICK, TICK)!!

I have had a really nice month this month. I know "spring is in the air" and that always makes people feel a bit brighter but just recently, I noticed that I have been singing to myself!! I love music and I love singing (not that I am any good mind)!! The point I'm making is that, I must be feeling happier in myself and a whole lot less stressed.

Things continue to get better although I know it is still important to remain patient. Throughout my journey on here, I have noticed that out of something terrible, I have acquired something good from it - MORE PATIENCE!! It's actually a great quality to have, especially in our shoes!

So, long may my singing continue. Will update soon with some more mini and long term goals to keep me going for next pay day.

Take care all.

Feb,

Thankyou very much for your post on my diary. It feels great to get to 100 days. Thanks for your support during that time.

Your ongoing achievement is amazing. Loved reading your recent posts. Over the course of such a long time in recovery constant improvement must be a factor that you and others close to you notice continously. That is where I want to get to and as you say with patience it comes.

Tomso.

MONTH 15. WEEKLY UPDATE

Still gamble free, becoming happier and happier with life the longer I abstain. Life is so much better.

For all those Mothers on here. Have a lovely Mothers day. I am off to my sisters for the weekend with my mum. My son will be joining me tomorrow for a scrummy Sunday Lamb Roast dinner, courtesy of my sister.

Take care all and enjoy a gamble free weekend.

Hi Feb2013

Thought I'd let you know I'm doing well....positive thoughts and have joined ScottyBoys Xmas challenge. Also going to open a savings account and enjoy seeing that grow instead of credit card with transactions to online sites. All accounts are closed and I have no intention of opening another though I know I must be strong to not do this.

Congratulations Month 15 gamble free. Enjoy mothers Day with your family - family makes everything worthwhile.

Mo

MONTH 15 - WEEKLY UPDATE

Another gamble free week passes. The biggest sporting event of the racing calander this weekend on my doorstep. Got in from work yesterday to watch some of the fashions of ladies day. Did feel a little buzz and a small thought about a bet. Reminded myself that it was normal to have this thought and it would soon pass and,I would only lose anyway!! I knew deep down, I didn't really want to anyway!!! Before I knew it, I was back to my online shopping, the thought had passed and once I'd saw the fashion show, I switched of the tv. Not a problem.

At my sister's for the weekend and looking forward to seeing my little great nephew and going out for afternoon tea!! Much better than gambling any day!!

Take care all.
