PAYDAY UPDATE MONTH 23.

Sandra, Alex and Q.I - lovely to hear from you all again.

Yes Sandra, time for my payday update:

Still gamble free. Lots of xmas pressies bought (and wrapped)!!! Just back from a girlie weekend in London, including Afternoon Tea at Claridges! - yes, Feb is definitely returning to her old form once more.

Looking forward to Christmas with my lovely family.

Still have the odd thought about gambling - usually when I need a bit more money for something but I just remind myself that this is just a trigger thought and to just let it pass.

Take care all and stay strong

Feb - feeling cosy on 'The Bright Side of the Road'.

MONTH 23 PAYDAY UPDATE.

Christmas is nearly here! All organised with just a couple more items to buy then onto food shopping. When you stop gambling, its the simple things in life that you really enjoy. Today for instance, I have just reverted back to direct debit for my electricity instead of a gastly pay as you go metre! What a burden that was. I have now paid off the £600 electricity debt I had and finished paying off my gas debt back in March. This means I can now go back to how it used to be - took a while but its a good result as far as I am concerned.

I am starting to not think as much of how bad it used to be. In a way, thats good because it means I am back to living a normal life. I still read new diaries though and recovery diaries just to remind me what gambling can do to our minds and our bank balances!!

Have a lovely Christmas everyone. Stay safe and make your life better by not gambling.

Feb - Loving being back on my direct debits on "The Bright Side of the Road".

Hi Feb,

A big well done for getting your direct debits, back, yes it does make our lives more normal, when we are in control of our bills, and that is a very positive attitude to have.

Reaching 23 months is a massive achievement in itself, you really have done amazing.

Have a great Xmas and new year, and here's to a wonderful 2015 gambling free year.

Happy New Year everyone!

Had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year. More than ready to go back to work though on Monday after a long break.

Have been thinking about some new mini goals to take me through this year. I will think some more and chart them up on 18th Jan - this date 2 years ago, was the day I truly reached rock bottom and decided to become gamble free.

Feel like I am coming down with a cold right now. Hope it doesn't develop into anything worse!

Take care all. Will catch up again on 18th Jan.
