1st day AGAIN :(

After trying and failing so many times myself I gave all financial control to my mum this time around and I am now on day 80 and feel like a different person. Give up control of all your cash and cards mate and you can do this.

The hardest thing of all is admitting defeat and coming back on here after a slip. Stay strong, get as many barriers in place to stop you gambling and you can beat this and get your life back!

Thanks again I've gave my bank cards and at the moment have no cash or anyway off getting any which hopefully is a good thing I am however selling my car to pay my bills another thing I have let gambling take from me how far will I let it go 🙁

hi mate i am really sad to know you have gammbled again , i will not judge you as have have lost thousands and thousands , but i 100% agree with born again give your cards to your mom or somebody , we i included have to be trearted like children sometimes to realise the error of our ways , but you need to self exclude now while you got no money and the temptaion not there , ask them to selfexclude from you from every linked site , and self excude from casinos bookies online sites everything , me i am on here every day and there aint no shame in being on here forever , i think i will be but if that saves me money and gives me my life back thats what ill be doing , if you loose your car when it goes remember seeing it go every time you want to gamble , 11 days ago i lost £1000 and now i just remember loosing that every time i want to gamble , it does work , on here last night i even had a thought of gambling again and started without even realising justifying gambling to myself , but taking advise of what other people have mentioned to remember how you felt when you had your last loss , to do this when you want to gamble again, it trust me will stop you wanting to gamble, ib ahte people to be back on day one , ive not done it yet but maybe GA is an option for you ? dood anything to make you feel like yourself again. anyway keep strong and let this be the last day 1. thanks simon

Thanks ste yes I feel tons better today it's no excuse but i was playing supercasino and I won like £2000 this was the weekend where I lost all my money on mobile I went on the laptop to check weather my £400 was cleare to my bank as I needed it it was sat there in pending withdraw my brain started racing thinking if it could just fluke my way to £1000 I would be ok I realise losing the £400 has hurt me again that's nearly £3000 in a week now had I have won I would still be in a gambling daze hopefully day 2 today no bank cards on me all banned from the sites going round my local town today where there is 8-9 bookies and getting self exclusion forms as embarrassing as this is I don't care anymore the gambling will take my life I can't even take one more bet it's not even about the money anymore it's about my family my health I still feel like the adiction has a grip on me so no more than £5-10 at anytime in my pocket and I'll hopefully get better also my closest ga is 40 mile away on a Wednesday day but I need to give it a shot thanks for everyone's help

Day 4 huge urges this morning need to keep busy

Now than mike don't be doing anything stupid today mate. That 80 mile round trip might just save your life, if somebody said to you drive 80 miles or die what would you do? My partner won't give me a penny I'm a long distance lorry driver and I can't even have 30p for a coffee, but you know what it's working in ten days I've spent nothing it's amazing the standard of living we will have if she continues to give me nothing will be unbelievable and so will urs don't be stupid mike.

Hi u will get there mate this is day 3 for me.even harder today working in newmarket with bookies everywhere but i just walked past them even though the urge as u had is massive.Keep your chin up this site is full of good people and advice.
