As you may know I fell from grace 63 days short of being able to see out 2013 gamble free, a harsh and sobering lesson I learnt.
I learnt a great deal and congratulate you fine folk for baring the torch. Showing other folk there is a way.

I hope to see lots of final check ins today. The final marker in what is a phenomenal achievement. S.A a huge congratulations to you, finding the right formula isn't something that happens overnight. Recovery is progressive and your progress is a great pick me up for other forum members.
Dunc, many thanks for your kind words. You're unrelenting commitment to recovery is a truly inspirational asset and I would say for many including myself you carry the torch of recovery aloft. I'm sure you will continue proudly marching forward in 2014.
For me, I'm checking in bet free for 2013 and continuing to move forward one day at a time.

It's been a pleasure to be part of this thread guys. Happily checking in gamble-free, and without a bet since 10/12/12.
It's been a topsy-turvy year - tough in many respects - but one we can all look back on with pride at the achievement. 'Desperate 123' became 'D123' some time in the summer; perhaps slightly less desperate now, but just as determined to continue on this path.
