Many thanks Sharon & Bella. Your kind words of encouragement mean a great deal to me.

There is no turning back now.

The future beckons and it is waiting for me with open arms...Stephen x x

Plan your future, with exciting events and make memories.

I'm going to see my favourite little person tomorrow she's 10yr old. (Sunday) and I've spoilt her with gifts.

Make time for your friends and family. And be happy.
Good night.
Bella xx

Thank you Bella for that lovely post.

I am now trying to view everything in a positive way and count my blessings.

I need to question whether my bucket is half full or half empty and I will also check it hasn't got a hole in the bottom.

Last night I was at the theatre for "Saturday Night Fever." It was a lot of fun and the audience gave the performers a standing ovation.

When the band were singing "Tragedy," my thoughts briefly turned to the plight of compulsive gamblers. Many lives are destroyed as a result of gambling and that is a real tragedy in my mind...Stephen

Keep yer money in your purse and you won't go without

Or give it to the bookies as you cry, scream and shout

If ever one is feeling glum beware you could be sorrier

For nothing's more pathetic than a skint gamcare warrior...Stephen

Went to Salsa at a different venue last night. There is quite a variety of dance groups around nowadays with Salsa, Modern Jive, Lindyhop and Ballroom being the most popular. I would recommend dancing to anyone. It's relaxing, good exercise and a lot of fun. Classes usually welcome complete beginners.

I am college this afternoon for my computer class which is very basic but I have little knowledge of how to use them.

All is well in my world. I will end the today with a swim and a steam at the gym or I might do something else. I definitely won't gamble though...Stephen

Hey Stephen, hope you’ve enjoyed your day? A swim and sauna is one of my favourite things to do aswell, I took my mum for a spa day on Sunday and done the same 🙂 felt great spending my money on her rather than throwing it away.

Hi Stephen. Thanks for posting on my diary. I must say that I'm really happy for you as you seem to be living a fine and contented life. You have beaten the gambling monster into a corner. And there it will stay!

The joy's of life eh - Lindyhop?
Music, food and friends.
Enjoy.

Thank you Lisa & Martin for visiting my diary.

Lisa ... that sounds like a wonderful treat for both you and your mam. Gentle exercise, pampering and relaxation whilst you spend quality time together. You work hard for your money so it is good that you reap the benefits and not some gambling company.

Martin ... It is good to have you back my friend. I wish you every success in your project...Stephen

Thanks no problem stephen just glad to hear you’ve had a good week 🙂 thanks, it was really great and my mum really enjoyed herself (apart from fearing for her life with me driving us there 90mph in my fiat 500 haha) so that meant the world to me.

Hi Stephen

As always keep up the positive posts on others diaries.

You are doing great by choosing not to participate in gambling. You don’t need gambling but gambling needs you to survive, each day that you are shunning gambling you are getting stronger and the urge is getting weaker.

Many thanks for visiting my diary. Your support and encouragement are a great source of inspiration to me and I gain strength from seeing you all winning your battles.

Lisa... 40 days. Shaun...153 days. Sandra...71 days. Caughtup ...246 days. Bella 111 days.

Lisa, Shaun and Sandra, Caughtup, Bella too.

Are cruising up the gamcare road and know a thing or two.

You walked away from gambling and don't go there no more.

Too many nights spent shedding tears whilst screaming on the bedroom floor.

But now it's all behind you and life seems not so bad, although there may be days when you feel a little sad.

But best to be a trifle sad and reasonably contented than gambling like a lunatic and looking quite demented.

Hello Diary.

Cinema Sunday night watching 'Alita - Battle Angel.' Thoroughly enjoyed the film and we finished the evening off with a pizza.
