2019 - Lets do a whole calendar year gamble free!

Hi all

Another weekend is here and another gamble free one we shall have with our loved ones, so much to spend your money on other things rather then waste it.

Which brings me to a quote from the great late George Best, “I spent all my money on fast cars, champagne, women and gambling, the rest I squandered”.

I've tried last few nights to send you a message or reply. So going to add short messages see if they work.

Congratulations Shaun yes it was a little white lie but you did it, you actually walked in a winner and left a champion! X

I've spent my 54 days money wisely, I bought brand new carpets, the expensive kind with thick underlay, expensive curtains, the money spent on one pair 2 months ago I would have made do or bought 4 pairs for that!

I've got a beautiful home, thanks to you and Allen Carr and this forum.

I don't want to gamble ever again. Certainly can't now for 5 yrs which is a blessing online.

4 days and you hit.. One Hundred! Have you saved that still in pennies? A good night out that hun with the missus!
Have a good weekend, I paid for someone to get my washing machine working so this week it's washing and ironing and can't wait, as I got a garment steamer and excited to use it! Ha! I use to never have time to cleaning but house proud now. Have a good weekend Bella xx

If we can help one another through this journey then we all become stronger and it is a journey, highs and lows but we shouldn’t lose focus of the message :-

1. Gambling is a con.

2. Don’t place that first bet.

3. Never question your decision to stop gambling.

This moving to a new place means my broadband connection is fitted 29th December so I'm day 57 and happy. I was at my sisters on Saturday she was stuck to a slot game and I never looked, heard the tune but narr not interested. I didn't ask her what the game was. She knows I have banned myself for 5 yrs. My choice.

So.. Well done to you. And next time I am in a WiFi hot-spot I will log in.

Thanks for the messages, 100 days but we must keep going as it’s just a number. What a fantastic start to the new year we will be having. Keep going no matter what life throws at you, that is the key as returning to gambling will only make things 10 times harder.

Happy 100th! I'm still going. New years Eve will be 70th day for me. Miserable weather in Manchester today eh, Its a nightmare to drive in.
