15 days gamble free done! One day at a time

16 days done. I got paid last week and I still have the money in my account. That hasn’t been the case for a long time. It feels really good. I have been having some honest discussions with my partner during the last few weeks and things are improving. One day at a time

really well done debsy , and agree honesty with partner makes big difference :).Keep it going we all can do it, it feeds on us not having any support or any help and being isolated lets continue to make it impossible for the demon that is gambling  to be strong enough to part of our lives ever again.

18 full days gamble free. I also had my first session with a gamcare advisor yesterday wow.

If anyone is new reading this I have to say that the support this site provides is amazing. The chat rooms are full of friendship and support and the gam change course has done what it’s name suggests. Kickstarted the change to my gambling. Looking into reasons why and the habit changing. Recovery is so much more than simply abstaining. I learnt this a year ago after I started gambling again following 6 months clean. I hadn’t begun my recovery then. I had just put a lid over the problem. This is why I am more proud of these last full 18 days than I am of those 6 months.
