There’s nowhere else that you can possibly get breakfast apart from a gambling establishment?

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

Being obtuse about the coined phrase? Telling CW not to reply? Why so angry Redbar? If I we*e you, I would be asking if that was addiction biting or a genuine response from you the person.

CW makes a very valid point! Why would you continue to line the pockets of a gambling establishment when they are so harmful? Sounds very much like the ‘free’ coffees people used to pop in for.

Congratulations on your day count but a few months of abstaining doesn’t undo a lifetime of damage...Don’t over estimate the strength of your willpower. As has been pointed out to me “The pilot light is always on!”

Sorry Red but I agree with the others, why put yourself in that position with those familiar sounds and faces? Personally that is a test I would not want, whether I am 18 days GF today, 180 days, 1,800 days in the future...

If the full English is a must then I would suggest either taking the time to travel elsewhere for it or cooking it at home.

People on here are only saying this sort of thing because they want you to remain GF. If you feel you have the strength today to go in there for food then that's great... what happens when you go in with low mood? Or go in with extra £ in your purse for something else?

At the end of the day it is your choice, but please consider the words, advice, experience of others on here.

Hi all and a happy new year. Just a quickish update, I'm still gf with no desire as yet to be seduced by the demons.

I've had so much stress and pressure of late with one thing and anouther, that the old me would of sort out solace in the form of wasting my hard earned money away, but thankfully with knowing triggers and blocks I've overcome the urges that would of took me back to my drugs.

Things are looking brighter again me and my partner are finally back to being us, but the trust from him is far away which I accept and understand. I still have that allowance with access to all my money but he has access to all my banks and credit score and views them on a regular basis. For his peace of mind.

I'd like to thank this site and all the posters I often log on to read threads and occasionaly post.

I'm a better person today than I've ever been and learning how to treat money with respect something I think gamblers don't have when in the whirlwind of gambling

Happy gf year to me. Its been a very quick year since the day I got found out. Many many downs but many highs. I haven't luckily had any set backs, urges or intentions of gambling again.

Got to much to loose far more than any amount of gambling wins. Big thank you to this site and all its posters, big huge thanks to my partner for believing in me x and to my friends and family.

I have money in my purse again my 1st buy to let property shared with my partner love in my heart and a clear conscience

To all you just starting out on the gf journey have faith it will happen and get easier but you need to really want it to happen and biggest of all you need support
