Checking in just about made it, no gambling urges and spending less time on here, staying focused and 145 GF.

Hello all,

Another week passed us by and this week we had 16 soldiers safely checked in on the challenge and 10 is still missing 🙁 not very impressive numbers but here we go. I guess i was very naive starting this challenge and thinking how we all will keep skipping along all the way, foot in front of another and succeed in this quest. Reality is quite different but such is recovery from this addiction. It catches up with many of us, strikes deep and hard and holds us in its grip....suffocating living lights out of us!

I can only hope and pray for the ones who long forgotten this little thread, will on the ones who are still about trying and praise the ones who are giving their all passion and dedication to stay safe and sound!

Even if this helps one lost soul - the thread did it's job nicely ☺

Have a good week all, keep moving ahead, keep making the right choice and winning your own battles in life!

Welcome to week 8! Let's do it!

Thanks for doing this challenge Sandra and for this update:)))

You are doing a great job on this challenge thread, over half way through and still having more soldiers checking in

than not, and this has helped each and every soldier that has done this challenge whether they are still here or not:))))

Your 90 day challenge thread is and has made a big positive difference to this forum.

Suzanne xx

I echo Suzanne's post, this challenge is helping me massively and I am really grateful for your time and enthusiasm in running it. We have 16 soldiers still doing battle against the evil G which is fantastic xxx

Have'nt checked in for 2 weeks, haven't fallen off the wagon still abstaining. So still count me in as a member of this challenge.

To be honest I had totally forgot about checking in, been busy and had zero thoughts or urges to gamble.

Good afternoon all,

Bumping the challenge back up & getting ready for tommorow's check ins! Time just flies and i can't believe we only got few more weeks to go....am absolutely bursting with pride for all of you ☺ (cutting some slack for myself too..thanks Dan 😉 )

Every day in recovery brings something new but it is so so worth hanging on and pushing through tough days because there is always that road ahead to come out to other side!..

So many milestones witnessed on here and so many more to come! Well done one and all...every single one of you makes this challenge possible and just proves that if we set our hearts and souls to recovery, we will achieve something priceless - peace, harmony, happiness, trust, self worth and freedom! Once again i feel JOY and PRIDE for all of you :-)))))

So to sum it up - i shall see you all tomorrow and will be celebrating a little victory we all have achieved abstaining and maintaining one day at a time!

Let's do it my shining stars

Sandra x
