Do you only want people to say positive things to you, boy2man?

How do you think that would help your recovery? If everyone said 'wow! you are doing great!' after your 3rd slip of the week. Sometimes the truth hurts, but we need to face up to the truth whether it is positive or negative. Gamblers don't like to face reality - fact.

Point taken though, Baljit's diary is starting to turn into a joke to poke fun at, and that isn't helping anybody.

Asking Baljit some direct questions about what he has done to put blocks in place and commenting on his lack of response is POSITIVE - it is pointing out that he is avoiding these issues which are important in recovery.

But I agree, good man for sticking up for him 🙂

Hey Boy2man,

Its a shame you deleted your post. We all have something to offer here, and please dont feel that you don't.

I offered my take on what you had to say, but I am not the expert. I hope I was respectful in my response!

Please don't let it put you off posting on the diaries, you made some really good points.

Baljit where are you? you can do this if you put effort into your recovery!

baljit, We all understand but please if you want help do the things that people suggest, like exclude yourself and give all your cards and money to someone else, if you do this it will help you stop, just try it and tell us all you have done it tomorrow then 16th will be your first day of recovery kr, maddie

why does he never reply to the questions people ask? its all to help for his own benefit. thats the reason that makes me question whether this is serious and if it is whether he is.

I think your mindset has to change before you will have continued success in recovery Baljit.

Once you are ready to quit you will self exclude and put all of these barriers in your way.

I hope you dont lose your wife and home before you reach this point.

Where are you?
