Baljit,

I dont believe you are ready to give up gambling. I hope you prove me wrong.

Why do you only want to put a bet blocker on your computer if it is free? If you were serious about quitting gambling, surely you would be happy to pay for one. You spend hundreds of pounds on gambling, why not spend money on a bet blocker?

Anyway, you can get free trials of betting blockers. But I think these are pointless. Why get a free trial? just buy the real permanent one. If you are serious about quitting you will have to do this anyway after the free trial.

To buy an online betting blocker go to www.betfilter.co.uk or www.gamblock.com

They are both very similar. I have gamblock and it works very well.

Good luck Baljit.

Hi Baljit,

I wondered where you had got to. Us gamblers are so good at seeing the winning but ignoring th losing. You said you won over a £1000 from a £35 bet...ask yourself Baljit...did you really win? Think back to all the losses you have had in the past.

You always seem to run here when you have lost.....why haven't you self excluded Baljit? Is it because you don't really want to stop?

I'm sure running to this site when you continue to gamble is the not answer for you. It's like putting a little plaster on a massive wound. You have got to help yourself Baljit...there's loads out there....and I think your first one should be self exclusion.

I really hope you can summon up the strength to stop......if that is what you really want?

Morning Baljit,

I hope you manage to go today gamble free. Have you self excluded from the bookies you use? If you are self excluded you can't go in and you can't gamble.

Good luck today Baljit. Post and let us know how you go on.

Well done for your success so far Baljit.

What is your plan if you are tempted again? it is good to have a plan, the urges can take us by surprise. Remember to learn from those who have succeeded in quitting for long periods of time - they all made CHANGES. They all put BLOCKS in the way of gambling. They all made not gambling their NUMBER ONE PRIORITY in the early days.

I wish you continued success, Baljit.
