Hi Backagain, I’m not sure there is a best structure but there are plenty of people in GA rooms up and down the country who can attest to working the program being what helps them. Other people swear by counselling & GamCare offer free sessions although you may need to pay for the longievity. Accepting that I can never gamble again has been vital for me.

I’m not sure if you switched to online because you were avoiding the FOBT but regardless, blocks aren’t usually enough on their own, not for us. We need to figure out how to rewire our minds, lead a happier more fulfilled life without the need for the crutch of addiction. Willpower is required but it won’t work in isolation.

Great work with the exclusions! It may be worth speaking to GamCare about the new GAMSTOP (there is a sticky on it) if you haven’t figured out suitable blocker yet.

What universally ex gamblers agree on is total abstinence is the secret.

Good luck.

How are you finding it backagain?

The first few days are the toughest. What protections have you put in place to ensure you don't relapse again?

Again like I said, these are the toughest and you are smashing it by getting to Day 3. Stay strong and take things one day at a time and you will get there.

Best of luck
