Day 61,  Friday will be my 3rd payday! My 3rd payday where the money will stay in my bank account and not lining the pockets of the online slot sites. Its also approaching my Birthday in the next couple of weeks, setting my goal to have my first birthday gamble free since I was 19, ill be 32 so as you can imagine its been a long time coming but I've got this ?

I'm usually working through daytime but today I'm off. And because I don't usually watch any TV till after tea time I can't believe how much shows are sponsored by all these gambling sites. No wonder there are so many ppl addicted when it's in our faces all the time ?

Thanks for dropping by Tom, I missed chat tonight to watch the football with son and hubby, something I would of previously say whilst playing slots.

Totally agree with your sentiments regarding the television adverts. I consider it an absolute disgrace that they are allowed to blatantly deceive people the way they do but we have seen through it and now know better ?. 

Here is a little rhyme as a sign of respect from me to you:

A lady nearing thirty two

No bets for nine long weeks

Hand on heart defiantly

Renouncing awful freaks 

The freaks who go on telly

Fronting adverts which deceive

Promoting gambling companies

Whilst ignoring those who grieve

But that is all behind us now

And we have eyes that see

With kindred spirits by our side

77 days Gamble free which I make that 11 full weeks ??

The weeks have flown by lately and I have to admit I find myself coming less and less each day to the forums, at the start I would be on here a good 10 times checking posts lol. I think it maybe the fact I don't really have any desires to gamble now. How can something consume your life for 12 years and here I am now 11 weeks with no a gamble in site.
