Sigh , chased a bit my losses last night, lost 200 pounds in total. Absolutely disgusted! Learned a hard lesson, I can't even have 1 bet without going crazy.
Cut your losses pal just accept it as a blip. You did so well for over 100 days, that's something to be enormously proud of. And when you think about how much you would have lost over those 3 and a bit months compared to this blip its nothing. Get back on the wagon ASAP before you fall into the same old habits. Good luck

Thanks pal.
Day 1 GF. Feeling the urge to gamble, but it always is that way after going on a binge.
Day 2
Gamble free.
Day 7,
Gamble free. NBA season has started, sometimes do feel tempted, but resist the urge.
Day 10
Gamble free. When you have done over a 100 days it's easier to not do it.
Day 12
Gamble free
Day 13 gamble free
Hey dark horse,
I read through your original post and this one last night and this morning. I have joined this forum just so I can reply to you. I must say it has been a really interesting read, I really admire your honesty and commitment to providing updates on here. I have seen you appear to change from someone who thinks they could perhaps beat the system as it were to reliably win profits to someone who can perhaps then do controlled gambling and now to someone who has clearly seen that any bet placed will almost certainly lead to losses because of your own psychology and need to chase losses etc.
I really hope you can continue to reach another 100 days and beyond.
Chris

15 days Gamble free
Thanks Chris. Yes - went through different mindsets, gambling is dangerous - I have no idea why it is so mainstream
Day 16 - gamble free, now back in the red.
This has reminded me how expensive London is and why I literally cannot afford to gamble.
Day 1
Relapsed badly, -1.4k in the red . NBA season got me. here we go again
5 days gamble free. Very broke, will have a s**t Christmas. Up to my eyeball in debt by -2k. I don't miss gambling.
Relapsed badly, basketball season has really made me vulnerable, just lost -1k.
no input here and generally feeling alienated hasn't helped. -3k in the red, back to where I was at the start of this thread. Luckily I am earning nearly 50k a year so will take 2 pay checks to pay off. Very disappointed in myself, will be another rubbish Christmas.
Dont trust myself so taken extreme measures of self exclusion. Once I'm out of the red, I will get rid of my credit card.
Really fed up of gambling. Wish I had never found it to begin with.
Dark horse it’s not a relapse if you continue to gamble every week.
Would suggest taking a long hard look in the mirror and asking yourself what it is you want to achieve? You’ve gone from inspiring others to where you find yourself today. If you think I’m provoking you then you’d be correct. I want to spark the person inside who can, not the person of current who won’t.
I’ve been you and I found my way out and you can do it to .
Read back up a few posts and you mentioned how joyous it was to be gamble free. You had everything going for you. You doubled your salary and then you let addiction back in. So you’ve gotten yourself a new job with a much higher pay to s***k it all away and increase your bets?
Above you say you took extreme measures and self excluded? That’s not extreme that should of been done on day one, not left to chance .
Recovery won’t find you , you need to find what recovery is.
Just take it steady you don’t need to keep checking odds that’s just teasing yourself and eventually addiction as it has will bite. Even if you don’t watch sport for a year it’s a price worth paying.
When fear ends faith begins.
You can do this
