So over 250 days since my last bet. When I first came on here I was told if nothing changes nothing changes so I changed now 250 odd days on I'm not changing anything what I'm doing is working I'll keep doing all the things I'm doing now because if nothing changes nothing changes and I will remain gamble free the only thing I will change is to keep adding to my toolkit and keep moving forward

Well done Martin on your 250 day's of being gamble free, a difficult and sometimes emotional ride so far buddy but a ride that youv'e met head on with guts and determination .

Firstly just wanted to say thanks for the posts on my diary with the tips, support and encouragement really does mean a lot.

Read your diary took me a while lot to read but can see how much you have been though but yet still managed to fight it and do so well and then go on and help others also such a great inspiration to read and also shows that it can be done and it does get better.

I have to laugh. Just had a conversation with the ex on the phone and she finished it with "oh I meant to ask you "Elizabeth" has a friend coming over over who is veggie do you know of any veggie restaurants in Manchester" makes me laugh she is asking me where she should take her next date. From that I can only assume her last date didn't work out and this is a new one. She will tell me in her own time but it's a bit cheeky to be asking my advice where to go but I did tell her of a great veggie spot but it might cost him a few quid as its owned by some celebrity chef.

I am aware of that same veggie restaurant. The bald guy and it's a certain colour. My mrs went there the other week - does not rate it as she's a carnivor like me... so send them their and hope they have a stinker! I can't help but think she may be playing some games here mate... trying to make you jealous and all that but playing the bluff card. I've experienced that type of nonsense before. You're holding it together really well pal. Hope the cricket goes well this weekend if you're following the team again.

I don't think she is playing games well she is she is enjoying lying to me like I did for years but she doesn't think I know.

The weather forecast was c**P for today so went for a pint last night but it's to nice to stay in so off to the cricket for a few cold ones and a few rays it would be a shame not to.
