Hello Joanna,

If I've counted it right then you are on day 170 today well done and keep it going.

You can be very proud of yourself.

Thank you for your kind words and sorry that I haven't said it earlier.

I hope I feel soon more up to it again and spend more time here.

And then again I might not post it but I think very often of you all and pray for everyone to have the strength to obtain gamble free.

Love and Respect

Wolfgang

Thank you dear friends: Elfie, Suzanne and Wolfgang for your kind words and I hope things are continuing to be good for you.

Wolfgang - I do hope today (Thursday) was not too painful for Lou and yourself, and that you both were able to take some comfort from the funeral - I have found that often once the funeral is over you can start coming to terms with your loss.

Yes, it's Day 172 for me today. A bright and breezy day spent on the South Coast. I am finding that my days are so filled with good things now that I am getting further and further away from any thoughts of gambling.

I am now beginning to feel as I did before I became addicted, so that must be a good thing!

Day 189 of sanity for me today. As I mentioned on Elfie's Diary just now, I am forgetting to log on to the site now as my 'life music' is so strong. I am so grateful for all the support from fellow-members and in particular the 'B' family of Mama and Mr B on the 2014 Challenge.

Thank you Suzanne, and I hope your life music is blaring out more and more.

Having read the recent posts of a fellow Challenger after his 'blip' I feel quite humbled - a timely reminder to be ever on guard against the gambling demons and to never be complacent about my recovery.

My first Diary entry for 12 days - life is so busy at the moment I don't even have time to think about logging on, let alone gambling.

Day 202 - have come a long way since March, and eternally grateful for the support here.

Michaelmas, and I'm celebrating my Day 211 of sanity. :o)

If anyone is reading this at the start of their journey, be of good cheer - it does get better and eventually you can get to a point when you just don't think about gambling, and when you do think about it - it has no hold on you. Let that 'life music' dominate your life and it will drown out that pointless 'gambling music'.

Hello my fellow LOTR fan

You are continuing to do great. You life music positively drowning out my TV here in my rainy island.

Truly inspirational to all us up-and-comers.

Well done, my friend.

Many thanks Suzanne, buzzallgone and Elfie for your cheering words.

Bats are flitting around the garden as I write - must be gearing up for Hallowe'en. I started this journey in March and never thought I could keep 'sane' for seven days back then, let alone seven months. I know one shouldn't wish time away, but I really look forward to making it a whole year! Best wishes to all.
