Hi, Phil,

My husband used the wonderfully fair site that you mentioned in the other thread. We wrote to them by snail mail quoting his name, address, DoB, saying that he was a problem gambler, asking for no further contact by any media for any purpose. It's been almost a year during which time they have respected that. The helpful furniture has a physical office location in Hertfordshire but it did take me a full fifteen minutes to find the address on the website, if you do write, get someone else to find the address.

BW,

CW

How did they get my details though?

They must share customers' info, my husband had offers from other spread betting companies which again we declined by mail.

I know. It just gets my back up when people are mocking those of us trying to change our lives.

Hi Phil,

I second oldham...commenting is only giving the user the attention they are craving.

Spend your time commenting on the people that deserve it.

All the best.

He' ll come back on in a few days or a week saying "His med's weren't right or something " it all gets a bit sill and tbh I'm fed up with bothering now ! Focus on you mate and have a good day ! Best wishes. AL

Hey Phil , Just made up a poem for you to help you through the day !

" In a murky pond there once lived a Toad , he'd paid all his due's infact everything he owed "

" From the Turf's he'd hop , then onto his pad , some thought him crazy, others just mad "

" He'd stick out his tongue , to catch some prey and often as not usually twice a day "

" The advice he was given was to stay away but he'd still hop to the turf to play everyday "

" With lessons not learn't and nor were they heeded , he'd hop to the bank to get what he needed "

" He'd sit by his "post " all angry and sad and swim through his pond to jump on his pad "

" He'd sit there alone all night in the end and wished so hard he'd listened to his supportive friend's "

" The last I saw of Toad , He'd hopped off through the wood but had poor Toad listened it could all be so good "

" He'd had all the advice and been told what to fear but don't worry too much , He'll be back here next year "
