Good morning fellow friends

Im sure some of you read my post in the Newby section last week so thankyou to anyone that did and big thanks to those that commented.

I havent gambled since i started visiting this website. I feel much better already and i am continuing to go strong. K9 software installed. self exclusion from all online bookies and instore of my local bookies. I have a diary of my own where i log everything i think plus a picture of my family. I have a repayment plan in place to repay debts.

Day 7 and counting. Im proud of my first week and i feel i have accomplished something. I know i have a long road infront of me but I'm going to absolutely smash it.

Enjoy your weekend folks
Cheers
Ben

Day 9. gamble free still. had a lovely bank holiday weekend. after having several possible distractions (slots at blackpool pleasure beach + champions league final), i am very proud to say i stayed fully focussed and didnt think about gambling once. i am already starting to see a bit more money, which is going towards overpayments on my credit cards to reduce them asap. family life is good, i my fiancee is supporting me all the way. i read everyone elses posts to get advice and support and that has been such a big help.

i know i am in the very very early stages at the minute and i will not become complacent. another day gamble free, feeling posotive about this week!

Hi Ben

It's all about choices and you are making the right choice by not gambling. It took me a long time to realise that if I gamble and lose then it's not the fault of the bookies, casino etc but MY FAULT.

Keep going and stay strong, we all have it in us the beat this.

Hi Ben,

Thanks For your post on my Diary, just been looking though yours sounds like your doing amazing, well in on going to Blackpool and keeping control that's defiantly an achievement, the support of others on here is defiantly a huge encouragement it has been for me anyway. Don't think I could do it with out it to be honest some great people on here and I've only been on few days. Best thing I done is register on here. All the best anyway looking forward to hearing your continued success!

Day 11. feeling better each day, small issues with money as a knock on effect from gambling last month.

had a small thought that i could get the money i needed by having a quick bet. however i quickly removed that thought and focussed back on staying gamble free, remembering all the negativity it brings.

busy day in work so keeping my head down. thankyou very much rylex and gaz, im staying strong. cheers for the comments, it helps me so much

Hi Ben thanks for the post on my diary. Your doing great mate! To have that urge and put it to bed is great and shows real strength! Don't let the issues with money get you down! It will all sort itself out now your not gambling! It takes time but we will all get there. Stay safe mate!
