Day 201,

Now that my 200 day target has been reached I am going to take a bit of a break from the forum. Will still be checking in and keeping an eye on the forum but not necessarily daily. No complacency. Checks in place and keeping my focus but time to begin enjoying recovery. I have fixated a bit too much on the number of days recently. I need to remember that every day without gambling is a good day.

Checking in as it has been a while. Still putting a little bit of money away each day. It feels good to do that with it rather than rip it up which is what I may as well of done when I was gambling.

Hi all,

I am happy to report that all is well. Christmas shopping all done. The wrapping to finish tonight with a beer or two! Ha ha.

I have set up a fund (from Jan 2017) to start paying monthly into for our two children. I am determined to go into the new year with a positive mindset. Life without gambling really is a richer life in so many ways.

I hope that everyone enjoys a wonderful, gambling free Christmas and New Year.
