Do you think it's going to be like this for you until April then?

What I don't get is your need to gamble now you don't have access to large amounts of money... If you've only got the money you have in your pocket then what's the point? You're never going to win anything significant (in comparison to the amount you've lost) with just the money you have on you are you? It will just be peanuts for peanuts won't it (unless you are in fact carrying around larger sums of money?)

Or is not about the money for you? Is it more about the 'thrill' associated with gambling?

And if this is the case... Surely then the £2 stake won't make any difference to you? It will just be 'death by a thousand cuts' for you won't it?

Speaking from experience - the FOBT was only alluring to me when I had a deep pot of money to throw at it. I would never hit them up knowing that I only have the money I have on me. Because if it takes that off me I have nothing. And if this happens then I'm completely out of control and I wouldn't want to admit that to myself.

How much money are you carrying around on you Graeme? And can you justify the amount you are carrying?

Are you well and truly ready to quit gambling for good or do you enjoy it too much and don't have anything else exciting going on in your world to do so? (If this is the case... Add some excitement to your life that isn't gambling!)

Now I haven't been gambling for a bit I get a massive buzz from buying my son one of those marvel action figures... I'm sure you know this feeling from that Lego you bought your daughter...

My daughters Lego friends came today. I have been buying her quite a few things lately because I was winning gambling. She still can have whatever she wants because I’m still not short of money even with the gambling I have been doing lately. So that will put a smile on her face the next time I see her . No gambling today or yesterday

You mentioned that you are looking forward to the £2 stakes in April.

Please be warned. I truly believe that gambling companies will do everything that they can to get around this and the details in my latest post proves this. Also, I have lost thousands of pounds in a few hours just by playing slots on a £2 stake.

Yes, the ruling is a good one. But, to me, it's only the first tiny step in eradicating the huge gambling problems that we have in our proud country. There is still a very long way to go.

Never played slots on them machines nt so won’t effect me. No interest in playing slots it’s alway been roulette. Should be taken out completely but that’s never going to happen. As we know nt a lot of these shops were opened so they can have an extra 4 fobt. So it’s obvious that they going to shut shops so they are going to try and get round it. I’m banned on all mayor online account plus have gamblock on me phone. So I’m pretty save with online. I have woke up in a miserable mood, need to snap out of it.

No gambling today. Got a message off my ex my daughter mam. She needs £100 to pay a bill we don’t speak anymore but she got a nerve sending me a message asking for money. I give her the £100 because I felt guilty but then she started talking about she feeling depressed about having no money and a work colleague has died. I always want to help her because I still love her.

Well gambled again lost £500.i was talking to a bloke who was playing on the fobt next to me. He put a lot of money in got it back and lost it again. He walked out as sick as anything. I walked out 5 mins later just as sick as him. The thing is when I’m playing on these fobt nothing else matter I’m just in a world of me own thinking the next spins going to be a winner. I just thought I’d let people know I’m not going to comment on here for a while. Need to try and break away from everything to do with gambling even this site
