Day 1 today.
A friend is keeping my bank card from now on.
Almost out of data and a bit short of funds so I will catch up with the diaries on Sunday when my allowance restarts.
Last bit of data until I post on Sunday.
Devastated by my gambling yesterday which left me with insufficient funds to cover bills.
I will shortly be going to bank to deposit the money my friend has lent me.
She is going to look after my bank card from now on.
Sorry to hear about your relapse, Stephen.
But today is a new day. A new start.
You have a new strategy in place and a new person to seek help from should your gambling urges return. It seems like your crux is the highstreet bookies so if I were you I’d be self excluding from them right away.
We’re all with you, Stephen.
Go again buddy and start your recovery again today.
Dan
Yes we are all here for you Stephen, regroup your thoughts and take up the support of your friend. Take care S:)
Get back up, dust yourself off and go again mate. You find it hard like myself but it can be done and when you finally get the knack of it (for me it took two years of relapses), it feels great. I know u can do this.

Sending you support and encouragement Stephen, keep fighting mate with you all the way, dont be to hard on yourself.
Sorry to hear your struggles, just keep fighting and never give in
Wilsy
Best wishes on your new journey. Keep that bank card firmly in your friend’s grip and out of reach. We can’t trust ourselves sometimes but great to have friends around to look out for us in our times of need. Take the help and vow you’ll never waste another penny. I too recently went back to gambling and I’m just one week ahead of you. Let’s keep it like that ! I look forward to following your Gamble free journey and wish you well
Sorry to read you stumbled. Glad to read you are trying something new this time around. You cannot rely on others long term though, maybe think of a few other techniques or hobbies to help combat gambling.
Not what you want to hear, but the bail out doesn’t help her or you. It relieves the crisis and keeps the gambling going that bit longer.
Changing your name and thread doesn’t help either, nor do positive words. And if you want to gamble, you’ll get your card back or otherwise find a way.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. Try new tools.

It looks like willpower alone won't work for you either Stephen.
We just cannot be trusted with either money or Internet access.
If we want to succeed, one of them has to go depending on what people's choice of gambling is. Sending you strength to help you make the right choices. Courage to admit defeat and conviction to carry the blocks through.
It seems to be the only way to succeed this horrendous, heartless, addiction.
Sending you a hug to help you to get on the right path again Stephen.
All good wishes x
