Back to normal today and out working hard again today. No students away for easter break so early start and home for a reasonable hour today.
Enjoyed the darts last night well done Dublin that atmosphere looked amazing from 1st game to last. My 3 favs sat in top 4 at present so happy with that.

Saturday has come round a few nagging thoughts of a bet this morning was never going to be acted on tho. Just kinda brushed it aside and carried on my normal business.

Day off today just chilling no thoughts of gambling.

Gutted to read of a slip of a friend on here today just makes me more determined to never slip back into that ever again.
No urge to gamble today working all day and plodding along slowly.

Not the best day at present work lasted 2 hours then my taxi decided it didn't want to play out anymore and is currently abandoned a mile from home could of been a lot worse. Anyway that's all I know upto now until I get a diagnosis later on.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious! Whatever it is, don't let the addiction tell you it has the answer!

Gambling couldn't be further from my mind atm thankfully certainly wudnt help the situation. Still waiting for my bro to come and have a look hopefully in next hour or so.
2 more payments to make on the car so could be a lot worse hopefully it can be sorted as in an ideal world wanted a year car payment free to enable me to save for the next one but hey it is what it is.
Day 139
Another day off today as car remains poorly been diagnosed as a knackered alternator so hopefully a couple of hundred will solve the problem. Thankfully due to not gambling I have a bit of money to pay for it.
A bit of a relief as I feared the worst yesterday had more lights on the dash than blackpool illuminations and totally unresponsive.

Glad to hear it shouldn't cost the earth...Cars are a necessary evil @ the best of times but you need your bad boy back on that road quick sharp! Lights on the dashboard, never good...I tried to tell my lift share mate that years ago & we were happily partying along the M1 one day when that sorry little car could go on no more! Imagine my surprise when he had no breakdown :-0 I think the car may still be there now!
Hopefully with the kids being off for Easter you won't miss out on too much work & actually get to enjoy a few days off?

Hey ODAAT thanks for your post and continued support throughout my recovery and for pointing out today is 20 weeks gamble free amazing didn't think it was possible had a few attempts before I stumbled across this site I barely managed 20 hours in the past so proud to be 20 weeks.
Easter weekend is a weekend where I would lose a fortune with so many games and events over the 4 days so happy I won't be losing a single penny this time around.
Hopefully the car will be sorted and back up and running for tmoz night but will wait n see. Have enjoyed a few lazy days off.
Footy at 3 and a local derby against Accrington Stanley a team I don't think we've beaten in my lifetime lol feels like it is deffo at least 10 years so here's hoping.
