Haha ODAAT unfortunately yes they are real. Still haven't beaten them for aslong as I can remember even though we had a brill ref who sent off their manager, best player and gave us a soft penalty which we of course missed beyond the joke now.

The car now starts again but is running like a bag of nails and not serviceable to the public at present. Got a drive lined up for a week or 2 while I get mine sorted or replaced decision yet to be made.

No urge to gamble far to much else to think about atm.
Back at work driving my bro's taxi for a week or so permanent nights tho which I hate but beggars can't be choosers I'm grateful.
When I stopped gambling i started putting a tenner in a tin every day 20 some Saturday's just cracked it open now have £1670. So will help towards repairs or replacement. If I was still gambling I would be totally screwed right now so glad I found this place so thanks to everyone who has given me support on here during this time.

I did see that you'd held them up but didn't realise even the 12th man couldn't come to the rescue 😉 Even the mighty Mansfield have beat them in the last decade...I didn't believe the NM when he told me as I'm pretty sure Mansfield have lost every game since I've know him (yep, even to Morecambe) but I've checked the record books & there it is in black & white back in 2006...Now there's summat to be proud off :-0
If yours takes a while, maybe dig out that Sony Walkman (I know you've got one somewhere, yes, with the orange foam headphones) & insist your fares listen on full blast for the duration of their journey...Obviously, it will only work in one ear but @ least you can blame the rattling on the 'music'!

Haha Sony Walkman yea I had one of those them were the days eh.
Did beat his Mansfield at home but lost 1 nil away when we were flying at start of season that's the game where most fans pinpoint as the turning point to an average season.
Thanks ODAAT quite a safe place to live n work in these parts although bank holidays do bring about all day sessions so pretty bad by time I come across em.
No urges to gamble today off to bury away tmoz and maybe look at a few motors while we down that way.
Day 143
Busy productive day today went to watch the shrimps beat bury didn't see that coming both our goals in last ten mins and then car shopping in East Lancashire more for your money out that way and picked up a replacement car with just enough left for some fuel. 8 years old but really tidy and will hopefully last a couple of years and it paid for outright with money that would of gone in the bookies pocket feels brilliant.
No more paying monthly payments that c*****e you. You can have a shiny brand new car but you don't make anymore money for it.
Day 144
Little nephews birthday 3 today so off for playtime in a soft play centre.
Lads footy training and then working the night shift in bro's car again be a week tmoz til mine is taxi tested and set up ready to go.
No urge to gamble at all this is the week where I've really seen the benefits of abstaining and maintaining feel really good.

No urges to speak of at the moment on my guard for the weekend though.
Day off today as pool league tonight only 2 games left of the winter league season.
Been sorting the swapping over of insurance and paperwork still a bit more to go and be back up and running a week today.
Day 146
Got a day shift today while car available so working til the darts starts this evening.
No show from the opposition last night so 10 nil win no love loss between the teams anyway so was a nice peaceful practise evening between us.
No urge to gamble yet although I have noticed the adverts on TV and in the papers already for Saturday determined to stay strong.
Insurance swapped over so just waiting on the paperwork to take it all to council and book it's test next week.

Busy day today this morning me and my girlfriend went for our 12 week scan expecting our 1st child together on October 18th. Will be our 3rd between us my daughter and her son from previous relationships we have all lived together for a couple of years now
So been doing the rounds today with the news to family on both sides. 2 very excited kids now looking forward to been big siblings.
Extra motivation to now keep strong and continue my recovery and coming on the eve of one of the biggest sporting events of the year will help me to refrain from taking any interest. Doing a sweepstake at work which I'm staying well away from real turnaround from last year when I was the instigator of it.
Work for the evening now til 6am sleep till 2 and straight to the game against Portsmouth so I don't get the chance to even think about it.
