Day 195

Still secure at the moment no urges to gamble at all. Can now at least imagine a future without gambling.

Just been working hard just a chill day today first one for a while with last week been bank hol.

Just watching the Murray game no darts to keep me occupied tonight.

Summer pool league starts again next week had a couple of personel changes for the new season happy with the shake up and confident of doing well.

Great going on 195 days Dave,

Getting so close to 200 a lovely solid milestone,

Only a month till Wimbledon, now that is the only sport I am interested in ( I presume you are watching Andy Murrey lol)

You have come a long way my friend, be very proud, you are soon worth it.

Surprised not to have had a call up for your Pool team...Hopefully they are as good as the winter one!

The realisation that my whole life needs to be gamble free was painful but I have no regrets now! A gamble free future is in our hands & what we all need!

I have had a lovely day, thank-you & the weekend's looking promising too! The support works both ways & I'm glad you're in my corner! You may prefer the underdogs but in recovery we're all winners so don't start hating us all now will you 😉

Thanks ODAAT for your post and support.

If your ever up north on a Wednesday evening I'd love a guest appearance. We look a much stronger outfit on paper the 2 weakest one plays cricket in summer and the other jumped ship to the newly formed b team and I've got one of my old star players back.

Another safe passage for Andy today enjoyed that playing very well on the clay this year. Deffo supporting him tho wen I started he was rubbish and never won anything lol same with Djokovic like him even tho he wins everything but the 2 of them lived in the nadal/federer shadow for a long time can't stand them 2 as standard.

No urge to gamble at all.

Guest appearance...Ha ha, you are as nuts as I thought 😉 The only black I've ever potted is when all my colours are still on the table...I'd do a better job @ being a stripper & that's only coz I'd put everyone off 😉

Now I know we're all safe...Not a single winner amongst us til we made it to recovery!

Day 200.

Thanks to my 2 biggest supporters ODAAT and Suzanne for your posts and continued support.

200 days gamble free today feels really good and I've come a long way never dreamt of reaching such high heights. Very few to no urges have settled into to a gamble free mindset I no longer look at results and think I would of won etc always on my guard though and I certainly don't feel I'm successful at present.

Still racked with debt but chipping away hope to be living a debt free and gamble free life in around a year from now. To achieve that goal it is imperative I continue my recovery.

Will always be watching your back 🙂

Dont t worry too much about the debt, as long as you stay with recovery it won't be a problem, WHY because it's simple my friend it won't get any higher, live your life now to your means, YOU my friend come first,

Day 202

Thanks Suzanne sound advice I've always been one to plan my future finances n doing sums usually involved gambling and potential winnings etc never worked out.

Started the summer pool league season with a 6-4 win against one of the strongest teams on paper only 8 teams per league through the summer. 1/2 for myself my new old player started with 2/2 so made a real difference.

No urges to gamble no footy atm which helps make it easier.

Day 203.

20 week scan today everything okay and in the right places not finding out what we're having.

The rest of day is spent doing the rounds with the new picture then I'm gonna get myself settled in for Murray semi final will be a tough ask.

Just a quick one got some devastating news for myself and family on Saturday with loss of my amazing Grandma.

So mite not be on here much for a week or 2.

No urge to do anything to be honest definitely not gamble anyways
