Day 59

Thanks for all your posts and support does mean so much.

We won the first leg of the pool match 8-2 last night we are a bit Jekyll and hide but the cynic inside me thinks it may have been a tactical defeat by the opponents as the first round losers go into the losers shield and they may think they have more of a chance in that.

Yea very proud of my lad and his team it's his 1st year since he joined the squad and they are really quite good undefeated so far this season including only 3 draws.

Again no thoughts of gambling at all and I wouldn't of believed that was possible until I found this site as my life resolved around it so thankyou to everyone who contributes to this place

I echo your thanks to this site & all who post on it, it continues to amaze me how grateful I am for the support of strangers as well as feelings of pride I have for people I do not know! Keep @ it - ODAAT

Thanks for the post on my diary taxi man.
I've always kept an eye on your progress as we both started at the same time, well this is probably my 40th attempt, but things are definitely different this time.

It's amazing how things can change in just 60 days, well done on your continued progress.

I use to do a bit if part time taxi driving at weekends, mainly to pay off debts;but it ending up being just more gambling tokens.
I use to hate that feeling of starting work at 5 on a Saturday tea time, having just wasted much more than I was gonna earn in the afternoon;the bad old days,-long gone thank god.

Keep gamble free and happy taxi man.
all the best trigger.

Day 60

Thanks ODATT, Carl and Trigger for your posts and support.

ODATT thanks for your comments and continued support right from my 1st post to 60 days I've noticed I'm not the only one your great at welcoming any newbies on here keep up the good work.

Carl, yea I do seem to keep myself busy it's all the same stuff I did alongside gambling but means a lot more now my focus is purely on the hobbies and without the worry of latest football scores etc I enjoy them things a lot more now.

Trigger, yea it's great to read other stuff that is close to same timescale as yourself and glad to hear you feel different this time. It's probably a better job to do part time as the weekends can be good have quite often burnt myself out before we get to weekend though usually try and give myself Thursday off these days to stop that happening.

Well day 60 feeling good and feeling strong no thoughts of gambling at all and in a good place right now. I did say last week I would look in my finances and sort a plan of action out well I did look at them and it was a little worse than I thought so in a bit of state financially and hope to get it down to a manageable level by the end of this year.

Well done for braving that & good to see a sound plan rather than a knee j**k reaction that it could have caused! You're doing great - ODAAT 🙂

How's the pool going taxi-man?

I'm considering dusting off the cue and starting playing snooker again, had a few frames over Xmas and got into it and the snooker on the telly at the moment has me hooked!

Starting to realise what I enjoy doing rather than starting and stopping due to no concentration because of gambling!

Thanks tears for you message and support we lost 7-3 last night I'm on a bit of a barren spell recently lost 2 last night and 4 out the last 5. Yea that bug usually catches me to when I watch it although I'm not a great snooker player more at home on the smaller baize.

Day and night off today off today so been out for lunch with my girlfriend, granny and auntie was really good now a nice chilled night before the hard work begins again tmoz.

No urge or thoughts of gambling at all and I'm loving it long may it continue.

Day 63

No urges or intention to gamble still feels brilliant almost don't even notice the bookies when I go past them at the moment lost all interest don't find myself checking results on a daily basis. My local league side playing tonight away from home so will be checking that one.

If it's to good to be true it usually is so on my guard for the tide turning at any moment.

Just work for today and tmoz to look forward too.

Have a great weekend everyone
