...failing that, try tying a piece of string around the offending tooth, and the other end to a door handle that opens away from you, preferably in a busy public place.

What has it got to do with a dairy? I did not realise you worked in the milk trade. It seems to be a popular profession on this forum!

What a cheek! All the advice that you are giving him (and you're not the only one) and this is what you get.

Loved your response!

Hope your tooth is feeling better today (Baljit, take note... I read this diary and now I am responding to it appropriately).

It is a well-known fact that 97.68% of statistics are made up on the spot!

I got the statistic wrong. It was 97.68% not 96.78%.

Do you suffer from OCD as well?

Yes, not only am/was I a compulsive gambler, but I also suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and become obsessed/fastidious with nearly everything I do. Anyway, I just got home after a long day: work - antenatal class - language class. I have spent over £200 on British Gas electricity and gas bills today. Furthermore, I am expecting the Thames Water bill imminently, which will blow another hole in my finances. Once again, I am substantially overdrawn (around £1,000). Still, things would be so much worse if I was gambling: I would have blown the money for the utility bills in one horse race and then blown some more trying to win it back. I was horrified when I looked at the total amount I staked on gambling last year - I staked several hundred thousand pounds! FFS.

Hi Pelle. Belated congrats on hitting 100 days gamble free I think its a great milestone to assess how far you have come in that time.

thanks for your post earlier, on the 2 quid a day i am still going strong have 318 euro in 2 euro coins in my desk at work. like you i dont carry much cash, its not that i dont trust myself its simply that i dont have it. i do however make sure i have a 2 euro coin going to work everyday, having a very addictive personality and a touch of OCD means I have the coins laid out in rows of 7 with all the heads faced up (please don't laugh) I do have a plan for them so will not be touching them any time soon.

Like you the debts are not reducing much but they are not increasing and the bills are being paid so I'm taking that as a big positive.

Keep strong.
