Day 23, still feeling good.. Box sets have been a great help, so thanks Oldhamktf for the thread! Really just keeps you busy and bingeing.. Also, watched a documentary on BBC I player about gambling which gave me a better insight to what this addiction can really do.. Keeping my head up..

Day 28, although I feel proud of myself. Seeing my family and friends with happy tears mean the world to me. Seen my ex a couple days ago and to see her happy now that I've not gambled was a good feeling for myself and her because all she wants is the best for me. She was the reason I realised I had to give this up. She is the reason, that I'm 28 days gamble free. I know people say, do it for yourself but my mind works different to others. I put her through s**t for 4 years with constant lying and making her feel bad when she didn't deserve any of that. I felt I was a good person before this addiction and Im 28 days in to becoming that same person again. I will continue to make everyone proud of me!

Day 35, been way over a month already and I already feel a change in my life now that I am not betting. Although it hasn't been easy, I feel like I have the old me back which is weird because I neve thought I would find him again.. Anyway, setting a new target of 90 days and feeling very confident that I I'll make this target!

Day 36! Today hasn't been easy.. Been quite tempted and I don't know why.. Had to get in the gym to go see my therapist today because I only have that to forget this addiction.. I guess I do need new ways to get out of the house and new hobbies to enable me to keep betting off my mind.. I understand that it's a lonely and hard road, but with everyone knowing about my addiction, friends and family are there for me now which helps me get through it. Really don't want these demons to pull me back in..

Day 43! Weird feeling today, woke up feeling very nervous for some reason and considered putting on a bet. I don't understand it, I was fine and happy the other day and now it's on my mind. Great thing is, I'm still 43 days gamble free but for how long? :/

Day 57, started reading again and been enjoying a few box sets to take my mind off the gambling. Really does help! Nearly 2 months of no gambling and I can't believe how far I've come. I guess it's true what they say, everything happens for a reason. You have to truly hit rock bottom in order to help yourself..
