Great diary entry this morning really routing for you to follow it through and I look forward to seeing what you come back with next week. I think we should have a little electric shock zapper thingy to get people if they don't do something. It might get me bloody running again instead of going from outer beauty to outta shape!

In all seriousness their is much positive energy coming from over your way right now. That middle is a good place and people draw strength from you I really believe that!

Now, what do you want to drink? No good looking at me with that choc bar and expecting me to know. I'm a philosopher not a mind reader (see my diary)

Just read your post... it made me smile as we both have similar ideas today. But I am Mr Grumpy and my approach is .... err... a little less challenging... but as the saying goes... each too his or her own.

Will hope to see things like Bungy Jumping, Swimming with Sharks and Roller Blading on the M6 in your list of achievements... if not, I am sure they will be interesting and achievements for you.

Well well 2 weeks pass by and it's all change but def for the best took me bout half hour to find out where u were !

Thought it was bout time I gave myself a shake and posted so I though I would start with u as I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for u and that I will never forget , yes there are plenty others who av helped me so much but like many others u help the words and advice was always true to word .or just the words of comfort which aways meant so much

So really pleased to see ur still doin great and helping others , I really av to take my hat off to u as the time and effort u av put in esp for the length of time is absolutely astounding and cannot give u enough praise

I'm gonna try and stick around but maybe not as much just wanted to say a big thank u just for everything

1. get video on you tube

2. highlight the www. bit

3. right click on it and click "copy"

4. Got forum thread where song is to be placed.

5. Have a cup of coffee... or drink of choice

6. Make sure nobody is watchin' ya

7. right click again

8. Check for onlookers one ,ore time

9. Hit that "paste" button baby... just hit it... smack... bang.. and your song is there.

Hello Shiny,

Just read your new diary. Your first post almost brought a tear to my eye. You will always be magic to me though. I understand exactly and you explained it very well.

I, myself will be returning shortly under an out with the old and new name to boot. I gave into my demons there for a short while and they almost got me for good. You will be pleased to here I have found the light again after hours of soul searching.

So, very soon I expect to be communicating again with all my virtual buddies here. You my friend among others made me feel real. Thank you.

Morning Shiny, do you hear those birds outside in the stillness of the early light. I can, it's beautiful, melodic and infectious. If I had an air gun I'd shoot the buggers because they're stopping me getting back off to sleep with their continuous chirpy chirpy cheep cheeps.

I am sure somebody a little more computer literate could explain this better than I ... but here goes.

1. You need to join an image hostiing site like " image shack"

2. Upload an image to the site.

3. Copy and past link from site... usually the " Forum" one... just the (img) bit.

4. Cross your fingers.

5. Go back to the idiot that gave you the instructions and tell them it didn't work.

6. Respond angrily when he tells you to google for yourself then.

It sounds like a great idea your weekly plan and i wish you every success with it and harmony just seems a top thread name.

You have come such a long way in this last 6 months especially from the sounds of it, and iv learnt a lot frm you about not just stopping gambling and as you said living in fear and afraid 2 live in fear of having a slip.

I like you now want to gamble with life but a day at a time i dont want to gamble in bookies where none of us can win but we can all win if we gamble with life.

I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED

After half hour of watch two utube tips, flitting backwards and forwards on my iPad . I have given up for the day . But I will not be beaten, later in the week I will multi media myself, with iPad in the one hand and pc at the other. ( and phone between my teeth if I have to ) . My mission is within one week , to have sent a picture on this site . Will sir give me a gold star ???

Am back and am picking up the last to days threads bit by bit..been away in the Peak district this weekend,xx

Great idea this "goal setting saturday"

I am no expert on computers but i have found possibly a long winded way around posting music vids etc on my ipad2

so here goes...

I go into google

Google "youtube"...and press "Youtube broadcast yourself" option..

I then trawl around artists ,songs,poems etc and type in space bar whoever

The video then comes on and gives numerous options so I press "share"

It then gives more options of Facebook,email,etc

I press "email" and send the vid link to myself

I then have two screens running....GC as if im going to post a new post on my own diary in that box

..and the email screen that overlaps the video

On the touchscreen bit on my email ..i run my finger across the youtube link info and it goes blue....then it gives option "cut copy or paste"

I press "cut"....the info disappears..then delete the white page email and go into GC screen....tap the screen and then the word "paste" appears....i press that and the link info is then on my CG post screen box...I then press send or write a comment underneath and press send as normal.

This is possibly the most longest winded way round to do this but the only way I know...

Its a bit like sending info through a wormhole or portal.....out of one screen into another....

hope that makes SOME sense...
